Lifestyle and Traveling Compared

There are many different variations of blogs out there. It is a way for individuals to express their feelings, ideas, beliefs, or even opinions. My favorite style of a blog is in the style of a casual blog. However some casual blogs are very detail oriented into one specific topic and some are broader than others in this aspect. A good example of this would be the blog titled "A Cup of Jo" and another titled "The Blonde Abroad". If we take a look at these two they may seem very similar at first glance. Both are casual blogs using a personal characteristic in their title. I do myself find one being more organized and simplified, and the other being a more wide spectrum group of ideas, and opinions.

Personally, when looking at these two blogs, The Blonde Abroad seems more clear and direct to me. It is a blog on traveling, including itineraries, recommendations, destination guides, and tips and tricks. While the Blog A Cup of Jo may have these aspects also, I find that this specific blog is better organized and this makes it easier for readers to find the specific information they are looking for, or may be inclined to read. The Blonde Abroad depicts a more adventurous lifestyle blog and I love that it is organized in a way where if you need to find destination ideas specifically, it can be found easily from the home page. (See Destination Ideas Here) I feel the colors of this blog also make it easier to navigate also, with it's neutral tones making it easier on the eyes and gets readers hooked. With it's pictures and options I believe this blog is a great option for people needing helpful advice, or simply just wanting to research prior to traveling, helping them make an informed decision on where to take that next trip.

The blog A Cup of Jo, on the other hand, still has aspects of traveling within itself, however it is more lifestyle based; with different topics found on this homepage beyond traveling, involved such as style, design, food, relationships, and motherhood. This blog is very broad and I dislike the amount of topics discussed within it. For example, each of the categories described above, also have subcategories within, such as the Career tab found under it's main category of 'Relationships'. Personally if I am looking for a relaxing casual blog to read, I am searching for one that is specific to the topic I am wanting to read more information on. This blog to me seems for viewers who are just looking to explore multiple topics and not really researching anything in general.

Overall, these are both great relaxing reading material. Both blogs are specific to their audience, and ultimately up to the reader for which specific content they are looking for.
